The defending Northeast Arkansas Invitational Tournament champion Blytheville Chickasaws are favored to repeat. The Chicks (4-1) were seeded first in Division II, earning a first round bye. They will play the winner of No. 8 Harrisburg and No. 9 Gosnell at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 at the Arkansas State University Convocation Center. The Gosnell-Harrisburg game is slated for 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18 at the Convocation Center. Meanwhile, the No. 3 Armorel Tigers have a first round bye in Division I and play the winner of No. 6 EPC and No. 11 Palestine-Wheatley at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20. On the girls side, No. 9 Armorel opens Division I against No. 8 ICC at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18.
