Ken Dumond, the director of Bands for the Blytheville School District, told his Blytheville High School Band members that he would be willing to have his hair cut and head shaved if the band achieved a "Superior" rating at the Region V Marching Band Assessment on Oct. 17 at Paragould High School. And on Oct. 20 the band members from both BHS and Blytheville Middle School watched as he made good on that promise.
